KitchenAid Stand Mixers & Attachment
Reviews
We will endeavour to list new KitchenAid Stand Mixers
reviews as and when they become available.
KitchenAid Stand Mixers:
the Artisan
The ARTISAN KSM150PS is truly the star among all
KitchenAid stand
mixers. Like the Professional, it also benefits
from KitchenAid's unique high-performance 67-point planetary
mixing action which insures that ingredients are thoroughly
mixed without frequent scraping or rotating of the bowl.
The KSM150PS KitchenAid
mixer takes pride of place in the serious home
cook's kitchen. Its powerful 325-watt motor can handle large
batches of heavy mixtures, and its 5-quart bowl can take up
to 9 cups of flour. The Artisan stand mixer has a tilt-up
bowl for easy access to the bowl and the attachments.

KitchenAid Stand
Mixers: the Professional
The KP26M1X Professional stand mixer deserves its reputation
as the elite KitchenAid
mixer. Its rugged 575 watts of power can handle
20% more dough than previous models.
An electronic speed sensor maintains consistent mixing speed
while ingredients are added. For commercial-style motor
protection, the KP26M1X is designed to shut off automatically
in case of overload.
The unique KP26M1X Professional KitchenAid
mixer has a bowl-lift design which raises the
bowl into the mixing position. KP26M1X at Amazon

KitchenAid Stand
Mixers: the Classic
The Classic stand mixer may be the most basic KitchenAid
mixer, but this tilt-up head mixer
features a 4 1/2-quart bowl which can hold up to 8 cups of
flour.
With 250 watts of mixing power, the D45SS is a powerful
piece of equipment which makes child's play of kneading dough,
creaming butter, or whipping cream.
Perfectly suitable for smaller batches, its major drawback
may well be that, unlike the colorful Artisan, it is only
available in White. K45SS at Amazon.

FGA KitchenAid Food Grinder Attachment
Review
The KitchenAid FGA Food Grinder Attachment comes with the
grinder body, two grinding plates (fine and coarse), a grind
worm, a ring, a knife, a wrench, a hard wood stomper, as well
as an instruction manual with tips and recipes.
You can grind raw or cooked meats with either grinder plate,
depending on whether you want a coarser texture for patties or
sausage mixes, or a finer texture for spreads. The coarse
grinder plate can also be used for grinding firm vegetables,
dried fruit, and cheese, and the fine grinder plate for making
fresh bread crumbs. Use the FGA for shredding cheese or
combining ingredients for salsas, dips, or spreads.
KitchenAid's food grinder adds a lot of flexibility to
KitchenAid stand mixers and can be used with all of
KA's household stand mixers. See the FGA at Amazon...

KICA0OH
KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Review
The KitchenAid KICA0WH ice cream maker attachment is best
known for incorporating the largest bowl in the industry which
allows you to make up to 2 quarts of frozen desserts in 20 to
30 minutes, without the mess that smaller bowls inevitably
create.
It also comes with a dasher and an adapter ring which can
both be thrown in the dishwasher. Only the freezer bowl has to
be hand washed. Then, store it in the freezer so it is ready
whenever you need it, and save on storage space.
Luscious creamy ice cream, cooling sorbet, or refreshing
fruity yoghurt have never been so eash to conjure up. Owning a
KICA0WH is almost like having a magic wand. KICA0WH at

FPPA KitchenAid
Attachment Pack Review
Included in KitchenAid's FPPA attachment pack are a food
grinder, a slicer and shredder, and a fruit and vegetable
strainer.
Grind beef for patties, or a combination of chicken, turkey,
pork or lamb for a sausage mixture; make fresh bread crumbs;
shred some crisp vegetables for a salad, or potatoes for hash
browns; make thick veggie slices for steaming, or thin slices
for cole slaw or sauerkraut; or strain some fruit and
vegetables for chutneys, salsas, jams, or even fruit
butters.
And after all this cooking, the only piece you need to
handwash is the stomper. Everything else is dishwasher safe:
slicer/shredder components, grinder body housing, worm,
strainer cone, strainer tray and splash shield.
Weighing in at a mere 7.3 pounds, this KitchenAid attachment
pack can easily be stored away, out of sight.

to feed the dough into the attachment and catch the finished
product at the other end. Making all kinds of pastas is now
mere child's play.
